The Creating Companions philosophy

A comfortable walk, a dog who settles beside you at a café, or the confidence to try something new: meaningful progress belongs in everyday life as much as it does in advanced training.
I help you understand your dog, practice new skills, and build confidence at both ends of the leash. You don't need competition plans or a perfectly behaved dog to belong here. Curiosity and a willingness to learn are a good place to start.

I’m Madalyn Castello, owner and trainer at Creating Companions. I help people turn thoughtful practice into a more rewarding life with their dogs. My experience includes advanced obedience, service-dog task training, and hands-on participation in dog sports, with personally titled dogs in dock diving and GRC.
The goal isn't to hand you a list of commands. It's to help you become the kind of team that keeps learning together.

We begin with a one-hour assessment, typically in your home, where we can talk about your goals and see your dog in the environment where everyday life happens. We'll discuss the best training direction for your team. No obligation to enroll in a program afterward.
